We are pleased to welcome Mikael Ucar to BIQ Materials, where he will assume the role of Supply Manager
Mikael holds a degree in business administration and has extensive experience in both the industrial sector and growth companies. Throughout his career, he has worked as a controller, business manager, and site/plant manager, helped build up manufacturing operations, and supported startups in establishing structure within sales and operations.
“BIQ is in a very exciting phase with great potential and growth ahead, and I definitely wanted to be part of that journey. In a growth company, no two days are ever the same—and that’s exactly how I think work should be,” saysMikael .
In his new role, Mikael will have a broad scope of responsibility that includes procurement and logistics, ERP systems, ISO certification, production issues, and project management. An important part of his role will be to contribute structure and experience as BIQ continues to develop and grow.
“I look forward to seeing the decisions we make and the work we do translate into continued growth. Hopefully, my previous experience and expertise can help us take the next step as a company.”
And when Mikael isn’t working?
Even then, the pace is still pretty fast. He plays soccer in Division 6 and tries to find time for the gym—but he also never turns down a good dinner in good company and a glass of fine wine.
