BIQ participates in the Swedish Football Association's artificial turf project

The football of the future will be played on artificial turf pitches with infill materials that are biodegradable. Against this background, the Swedish Football Association has initiated a three-year project in which BIQ Infill is one of the materials being evaluated.

"It is also important that our artificial turf pitches mimic normal grass as much as possible so that both training and matches can contribute to Swedish football development, but also to minimize the risk of injury. This is a future issue for us so that we can continue to be the force we are in creating meaningful contexts for young people. To be meeting places where both public health and integration are promoted just as they are today," says Simon Åström, Chairman of SvFF.

As the industry shifts towards more sustainable solutions, the need for high-performance and biodegradable alternatives is increasing - where BIQ Infill is already playing an active role and contributing to the next generation of artificial turf pitches.
