BIQ participates in the Swedish Football Association's artificial turf project
The future of football will be played on artificial pitches with biodegradable infill. Against this backdrop, the Swedish Football Association has initiated a three-year project in which BIQ Infill is one of the materials being evaluated.
"It is also important that our artificial turf pitches mimic normal grass as much as possible so that both training and matches can contribute to Swedish football development, but also to minimize the risk of injury. This is a future issue for us so that we can continue to be the force we are in creating meaningful contexts for young people. To be meeting places where both public health and integration are promoted just as they are today," says Simon Åström, Chairman of SvFF.
As the industry transitions toward more sustainable solutions, the demand for high-performance, biodegradable alternatives is increasing. BIQ Infill is already playing an active role in this shift – contributing to the next generation of artificial turf.
